We are a multidisciplinary dance company that produces exceptional physical work directed/choreographed by Kayleigh Price. She creates works that is autobiographical using her own experiences as a neurodiverse woman to demonstrate shared commonalities.
Company K aims to continually create a safe practice and space for all creatives working on any project.

Kayleigh Price
FOUNDER
Originally from Manchester, Kayleigh trained at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance and Verve ’14. Being a freelance dance artist Kayleigh has worked with many people such as ACE Dance and Music, Southpaw Dance Company, Chhaya Collective, FRONTLINE dance, Eleesha Drennan, Tino Sighal, to name a few. She is the choreographer and Artistic Director of Company K, making autobiographical work using her own experiences to demonstrate shared commonalities with her works; 'The Left one out', ‘Familiar’ and ‘ROOM’ in collaboration with Company Nil. Company K aims to continually create a safe practice and space for all creatives working on any project. Kayleigh is also a guest lecturer and has taught at the Leeds Beckett University, NSCD, VERVE, Swindon Dance and professional class for The Place, Pro Dance Leeds, and many professional companies.

Corrin Bramble
Rehearsal Director
Corrin trained at The Northern School of Contemporary Dance and Verve 14 where she worked with renowned choreographers; Lea Anderson, Gemma Nixon and Jonathan Goddard, Ben Duke and Jamaal Burkmar. Corrin is an Artistic director on editorial shoots for fashion magazine look books with Indra Studios and is rehearsal director for Lewis Bramble Dance.

Beth Payton
Mentor
Beth Payton is a Manchester based Dance Artist and Well Woman Yoga Therapist. Having trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance, Beth has spent 12 years performing (works by Gary Clarke, Alesandra Seutin, Balbir Singh, TC Howard), and teaching dance (The Lowry CAT Scheme, Rambert, Edgehill University). Beth’s creative work has always been driven by female empowerment. She has written feminist pieces for The Huffington Post Blog and Her + Earth, She directed her own Dance Film project ‘My Female Body’, was commissioned to create ‘Luna’ on a female company of dancers at Edgehill Uni and now works with women as a Womb Yoga Therapist. She feels honoured to support this powerful collective of female artists (Company K) as mentor.

Alicia Meehan
Dancer
Originally from the West Midlands, Alicia Meehan is a dance performance artist, based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Working both regionally and internationally as a performer, choreographer, teacher and movement director. Her training began in classical dance at Northern Ballet School. Alicia later progressed on to explore contemporary dance and choreography at Laban conservatoire, gaining an MA in Creative Practise in 2013.As a performer Alicia has worked with and for an array of individuals and organisations such as; Southpaw Dance Company, Lo-Giudice Dance, Paradox Pictures, Company of Others, State of Grace, Rosie Kay, Joeleane English Dance Theatre, Tenfoot Dance Company, Changing Relations, Rory Studios, Experiential Dance, Curious LGBTQ Festival, Fertile Ground and The Creative Seed Carnival. Her work as a choreographer, spans across a multitude of genres, such as mass movement and intergenerational projects, youth company’s, music videos and theatre productions.

Daniella May
Dancer
Originally from Leeds, Daniella gained her degree from The Northern School of Contemporary Dance and her postgraduate diploma from The London Contemporary Dance School. Daniella has toured nationally and internationally working across a broad range of dance, Including; Contemporary, Commercial, foundations in HipHop and African Dance Styles. Daniella’s working credits include: ZooNation on their Westend production ‘Message In A Bottle’, Idris Elba's and Kwame Kwei-Armah's production ‘Tree’ at the Young VicTheatre, West End and international tour of Stomp, Southpaw Dance Company, Grounded movement, Uchenna Dance, Tavaziva Dance, and many more.

Sara Marques
Dancer
Sara is a Manchester-based dancer. During her time training at The Northern school of contemporary dance, Sara performed with Kassichana O Jameson in the finals of BBC Young Dancers 2015. After graduating from NSCD, and apprentice dancer with Company chameleon, Sara has performed outdoor and indoor performances nationally and internationally with Company Chameleon, Extended Play and Company K. Sara is also a choreographer with her work ‘IRMA-sister’ with co-creator Alice-Bonazzi.

Azizi Cole
Musician
Born and raised in Handsworth, Birmingham, Azizi has been performing artist from as young as four years old. Starting his dance training with Gail and Ian Parmel at ACE Youth he was nurtured through his formative years developing key skills and life lessons that he has been able to carry with him into his professional career. As well as playing, Azizi composes and records music for contemporary dance being commissioned by artists such as HumanHood, Alesandra Seutin and Akeim Toussaint-Buck. In the past two years he has been developing a creative practice that encompasses both his dance and musical backgrounds with a heavy emphasis on musicality within movement. This practice is both performance and education based having taught workshops to both students and professionals.

Ed Jeffreys
Lighting Designer
Ed Jefferies studied at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance at and since graduating has worked as a freelance lighting designer and theatre technician. Recently, he has lit the RJC: Still Blazin’ Christmas show (as listed in The Guardian’s 25 unmissable festive shows for 2018) and has worked with touring companies Denada Dance and Ieva Kuniskis.

Daniel is a British East, South East Asian (ESEA) Actor, Dancer and Photographer graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University and the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, finishing his training in 2015. Since then Daniel has worked as performer, choreographer, movement director, and teacher, performance credits include; Kate Prince Company, Company Chameleon, Becky Namgauds, Avant Garde Dance, Wayward Thread, NUA Dance to name a few. As a British ESEA artist, Daniel questions his own identity as an Asian male born and living in Western Society, conveying topics through the disciplines of Hip-Hop and Contemporary Dance, Meisner Technique, Theatre and Photography. Company Nil’s work focuses on creating socio-political work that is relevant to our current social climate. Previous works include topics on; Freedom, Cultural Masculinity and identity through the works, ‘At Arm’s Length’ (short film), ‘ROOM’ in collaboration with Kayleigh Price (short film), ‘Blowin’ In The Wind’ (full-length dance theatre production).
